On Toyota´s Mind

Advertising agency SWE had developed a strategy for building Toyota´s brand that primarily relied on radio commercials. At this point, we became involved to think about what could be done online to get the message out that Toyota is a very interesting and different car company.

Our Role:

The overall strategy and copy was created by advertising agency SWE. North Kingdom was responsible for creating the online experience.

Challenge:

After the success with the Toyota Aygo campaign, the biggest challenge was to create something as direct and engaging as that website. It was also technically challenging to include as much animation and effects as possible, without frustrating the user’s computer (CPU).

Solution:

The solution was to create a world of Toyota, taking different pieces of interesting stories from the Toyota company and philosophy, and then blend that into a visually engaging user experience, with loads of sound effects, animations and funny stories.

Target Group:

Anyone interested in buying a car in Sweden.
