H&M Studio Autumn/Winter 2014

The H&M Studio collection is the brand’s exclusive seasonal line they present biannually at Paris Fashion Week, which North Kingdom was invited to conceptualize and envision an interactive lookbook that boasts the lines high fashion garments online.

Our interactive catwalk showcased each of the 15 key looks in the collection in a super slow motion catwalk where the user can explore the garments details from each look through subtle interactions. Additionally, the urban atmosphere was set with changing background videos with specific soundscape to emulate the mood of each key look provoked.

And to allow fans of the H&M Studio line to shop straight off the catwalk, we integrated the lookbook experience into H&M’s Online Shopping Bag within hm.com to allow fans to purchase the collection's garments directly from the HTML5 video experience. This technical solution transformed a traditional marketing site into a virtual shop that inspires.

Overall, the whole experience creatively positions the collection in a cool and raw atmosphere to enhance its inherent contrast style.

The H&M Studio Autumn/Winter 2014 collection exceeded all expectations and foreseen sales targets in record time once the project was launched on September 3rd 2014.
