Since 2019 Supercell Creators is the best in class affiliate program for gaming content creators around the world. Through the platform, influencers in the gaming industry can level up, gain early access, enjoy exclusive merch, and earn real world money from various promotional work done for the Supercell games. Born from the ambition to create authentic relationships with creators and their followers, the program now counts more than 300.000 members.

How do you make a hard working community of players from all around the world feel welcome, connected, and seen by a game publisher they’ve devoted their careers to? Early on, we realised that our task would involve more than just creating a way to connect external platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Slack, Discord and PayPal in one place.

This also needed to be a platform with room for personal growth — where users would feel they’re part of a family, experience effortless communication, gain access to the tools they didn’t know they needed, and more.

We built a web-based platform where users apply to The Creators Program through connecting their Supercell ID and primary streaming platforms. Depending on the size of their current fanbase, a sorting algorithm places them into a suitable tier level where an effortless and story-filled onboarding experience automatically funnels them into the platform and other closed communication channels such as Slack and Discord.

The program furthermore features a custom built trophy road which guides and motivates users as they progress through the tiers levels. A detailed financial visualisation tool helps users who’ve been accepted into the Creator Boost program see current earnings from fans who’ve used their Creator Code when purchasing items in the various game stores. Trusted, higher tier-users also gain access to the Video Inbox tool, allowing them to push their video content directly into the games, reaching hundreds of millions of players at an instant.
