The challenge was to design a feature that would be both powerful and user-friendly, enabling players to capture and edit gameplay moments with a cinematic touch, all while maintaining the visual fidelity and immersive quality of modern gaming engines.

North Kingdom partnered with EA to help shape the concept of a cutting-edge replay tool. Our team developed a high-fidelity prototype, complete UX flow, and design assets to ensure the tool was both intuitive and visually stunning. While the final product was built internally by EA, North Kingdom’s involvement was crucial in the early stages of conceptualization and design, laying the groundwork for a seamless user experience.

The first integration of this tool was implemented in EA SPORTS FC 25. The feature allows players to create and share high-quality cinematic content, thereby extending engagement and tapping into the user-generated content trend. The success of this tool in EA SPORTS FC 25 lays the foundation for its potential adoption in other EA titles, promising a new standard in gameplay highlight creation and sharing.
